The HSC N130 exercise Maritime Presence world-wide operating either alone or as part of a force to enable graduated response. The N130, Aluminum or high tensile Steel versions, support land operations, especially early entry of forces, through littoral manoeuvre. In the multi-threat environment, they fully contribute to the protection of offshore installations and Sea Lines of Communication and deployed forces by providing specialist capabilities in Anti-submarine Warfare and Littoral Anti-Surface Warfare, supported by Anti-Air Warfare Point Defence

GOAL

It’s a stabilized monohull configuration design, using a new generation hull form, designed to provide a general purpose warship with common machinery and ship’s equipment that can be quickly customized to undertake a particular role.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The HSC N130 A is a fast, multipurpose combat support vessel with large reconfigurable areas for mission specific equipment. It is capable of carrying out a range of low to medium intensity military missions, coupled with a permanent capacity to transport 400 combat troops and their equipment. This combination can provide rapid deployment of combat troops with a high level of protection, and allow true multi-role use of an important asset.
