The HSC L140 is the only strategic platform that can deliver quickly troops and equipment together in sufficient size to bring immediate combat power to bear. While in transit, commanders could conduct en route planning and receive intelligence updates, and the troops drive the combat system from the ship ready to fight onward to the tactical assembly area.

GOAL

The HSC L140 program is a direct result of an expressed need from the modern Navies to cover different fast tactical transport, logistical, humanitarian and peace-keeping missions.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The HSC L140 can carry troop soldiers, transport armoured vehicles, trucks, military vehicles, containers and helicopters at 36 knots fully loaded in rough seas. Thanks to of the configuration of the HSC cargo deck, the vessel can accommodate 112 units of Hummer, 25 Panther helicopters and 1500 soldiers, which can be self-deployed from the cargo deck to any port having 5 meters draft.
